I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from James Madison University and began my career as a graphic designer in January 2020. After completing a year-long design fellowship with VOX Global, I went on to design at DDC Public Affairs, where I have been working since March 2021.
I have a decade-long foundation in studio art, and found a natural transition to digital mediums once I began pursuing my degree. My love for studio art lent itself to finding a passion for design, and I have been using my foundational knowledge to guide my design ever since.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find points of tension behind the idea I’ve been assigned or am interested in. While working in a collaborative environment, I do several iterations on each point and garner feedback from our many cross-functional teams to find efficient and visually engaging design solutions.
I have experience working on projects ranging from large-scale digital campaigns to on-site video and photoshoots. Constantly being able to expand my role as a designer is what I find the most rewarding and stimulating. Always being up for a challenge, I welcome new opportunities with gratitude and excitement.
